En las siguientes fotos podeis ver un broche de imperdible, de metal dorado viejo, decorado con un colgante que muestra una imagen vintage de unos gatos y conejos sobre un fondo transparente, y unos abalorios en tonos marrones, a juego. Es muy simple, lo que llama en sí la atención es la imagen, ya que se ve muy simpática.

It is very simple, what catches the attention itself is the picture, as it looks very nice.

Ahora le toca el turno a estos tres relojes de bolsillo. Habreis supuesto ya que tengo debilidad por este tipo de piezas. He conseguido que todos los que he hecho sean diferentes totalmente aunque tienen el mismo estilo.

Uno se abre y es entonces cuando se ve lo más bonito, la imagen de la dama. Otro tiene el cristal bajo el cual está una pieza de filigrana, encapsulada en resina transparente de color sangre, y el otro, tiene como principal adorno la cabeza de un escarabajo. Es la primera vez que trabajo con un insecto, y el resultado ha sido muy original.

Now it,s time for these three pocket watches. You must have guessed by far that I feel a deep affection for these kind of pieces. I could get that all the ones I,ve made look totally different but in the same style.

One of them can be opened and it,s then that you can see the best, the picture of the lady. Other has a glass under which there is a filligree piece, encapsuled in blood colour transparent resin, and the other, has as the main attraction the head of a beetle. This is the first time I work with an insect, and the result was very original.

Ya por último, os quiero enseñar un colgante que hice usando como base un cristal de unas gafas antiguas. Le añadí una imagen de un hada, y puse una capa de resina coloreada en amarillo transparente, lo que le da un aspecto un poco vintage, como si se hubiera puesto de ese color por el paso del tiempo.

Lo completé con un colgante de una pajarito metálico, y una cadena metálica de unos 60 cms de larga.

As a last issue, I want to show you a pendant I made using a a base the glass from an old glasses. I added the picture of a fairy, and put a layer of yellow coloured transparent resin, so it has a little vintage look, as if the colour was due to the march of time.

I completed it with a metallic birdie charm, and a metallic chain abou 60 cms long.

Continuando con la bisutería, os quiero enseñar más cosas de las que hice para el mercado. Usando cristales de relojes antiguos de bolsillo, hice unos colgantes con ilustraciones de libros antiguos de zoología, con mariposas y con un título. Es una mini colección de tres colgantes, que van con una cadena dorada de unos 52 cms de largo. Se adornan con charms de abalorios para completarlos un poco más. Lo bonito de ellos es que son sencillos, para gente a quien no le guste adornarse demasiado.

Following with bijoux, I want to show you more things I did for the market. Using old pocket watches cristals, I made some pendants including illustrations from ancient zoology books, with butterflies, and a title. It,s a three pendants mini collection, completed with golden chains, about 52 cms long. They are adorned with bead charms to make them a little more completed. They,re beautiful because they are simple, made for people who don,t like to look too overcharged.

Había algo que quería intentar hace tiempo, y es hacer colgantes de resina enmarcados, pero con el fondo transparente, con lo que el objeto incrustado en la resina parece estar en el aire.

Hice algunos, y quedaron como yo pensaba. Lo primero que hice usándolos ha sido estos pendientes con llaves. Veis que los marcos son un poco diferentes, porque no tenía dos iguales, pero quedan igualmente bonitos puestos. Tienen un toque muy steampunk, y son muy simples, se pueden llevar fácilmente.

There,s something I wanted to try a long ago, that is, to make pendants with framed resin, with a transparent background, so that the object inside looks like floating in the air.

I made some of them, and the result was as I thought. The first thing I made using them is this couple of earrings with keys. You see that the frames are slightly different, as there was,t two equals, but anyway they look great when worn. They have a very Steampunk touch, and look very simple, they can be worn easily.

Lo siguiente que vais a ver son unas piezas con las cuales estoy muy contenta.

Ya os habreis dado cuenta de que últimamente estoy trabajando bastante con piezas de relojes antiguos. Pues bien, parte de estas piezas son las ruedas y engranajes de su interior.

Quise hacer unos pendientes con estas piezas, y el resultado es este. Los engranajes cuelgan de unas filigranas de estilo victoriano, y aunque vistos de lejos no se aprecian y parecen unos pendientes normales, vistos de cerca se ven muy bonitos y llaman la atención, como se muestra en las fotos.

The next thing you,re about to see is something that I,m very happy with.

As you might have realized, I,ve been working lately with antique watch pieces. Well, a part of these pieces are the machineries they have inside.

I wanted to make some earrings with these pieces, and this is the result. The wheels hang from Victorian style filligrees, and although seen from a distance it can not be appreciated and they look like ordinary earrings, in a close view they look very nice and catch the attention, as it,s shown on the pictures.

Os muestro ahora un par de collares que he hecho parecidos al collar de inspiración japonesa que puse no hace mucho. Esta vez, en vez de una mujer, llevan motivos de la naturaleza, como flores y pájaros, pero la esencia es la misma.

Llevan encaje negro a modo de cadena, unos abalorios de colores a juego con los tonos de la imagen, cubierta con resina, y un fleco negro colgando, que hace muy bonito al moverse.

I show you now a couple of necklaces I,ve made, similar to the Japanese inspired necklace I posted not long ago. This time, instead of a woman, they have nature motifs, like flowers and birds, but the essence is the same.

They have black lace as a chain, coloured beads matching the shades of the picture, covered with resin, and a black fringe hanging from the beads, that looks very nice when it moves.

Ahora os traigo a este grupo de amiguitas. Son unas muñequitas de algún tipo de arcilla, que venían vestidas con trajes de florecitas y estampados que, a decir verdad, no me gustaban, ji ji. Decidí cambiarles el look, y darles un toque victoriano y oscuro a la vez. Por ello usé negro, blanco, morado, rojo, granate, y un toque de tela cuadros escoceses. El resultado es un ramito de monadas que podeis ver en las fotos. No pude evitar llamarlas Alraunitas…. el efecto Frankenstein.

I bring you now this group of little friends. They are little dolls made with some kind of clay, that came dressed with flowered printings that, to tell the truth, I didn,t like at all, hi hi. I decided to change their look, and give them a dark and Victorian touch at the same time. So I used black, white, purple, red, dark red and a bit of tartan . The result is a bunch of cuties that you can see on the pictures. I couldn,t help naming them Alraunitas… the Frankenstein effect.

Ahora quiero que veais un trabajo de restauración que he hecho recientemente.

Encontré por internet estos dos expositores para bisutería, que como podeis ver en las primeras fotos, estaban rotos. El maniquí tenía la base rota, y el de hierro necesitaba pintura, y fijarle la flor en el tope superior de la base.

Tras unas horas de trabajo conseguí darles nueva vida a ambos. El maniquí tiene un encaje nuevo, le puse una bola negra en el tope superior, el girasol tiene más color, le coloqué unas tuercas en las puntas de los colgadores, y bueno, pienso que me han quedado muy bonitos para colocarles bisutería cuando ponga un stand en algún evento.

Sobre todo me gustaron por ser antiguos. Eso para mí añade valor a una pieza.

I want to show you now a restoration job I made recently.

I found at Internet these two bijoux hangers, that, as you can see on the first pictures, were broken. The mannequin had the base broken, and the iron hanger needed some painting, and fixing the flower at the top of the base.

After some hours of work I got to give them a new life. The mannequin has new lace, I put a black ball at the top , the sunflower looks more colourful, I put some screws on the top of the hungers, and well, I think they look very beautiful to hang some bijoux on them whenever I put a stand on an event.

I like them specially for being antique. This is a fact that adds value to a piece, for me.
