Hoy me llegaron unos encajes vintage que compré, y en la mano, se ven preciosos. Los pedí con la idea de hacer con ellos gorgueras, tanto para ser usadas en ropa histórica, como para dar un toque elegante a un conjunto gótico.

El primer encaje es blanco, bordado sobre organza, y tengo material para dos gorgueras.

El segundo, es de hilo de algodón color crudo, y tengo para una gorguera.

Today I received vintage laces I had bought, and they look great in the hand. I asked them with the idea of making ruffled collars, to be used both on historical clothing, or to add an elegant touch to a gothic suit.

The first lace is white, embroidered on organze, and I have lace enough for two collars.

The second lace is made of creamy colour cotton thread, and I have lace enough for one collar.

Hoy os traigo más telas japonesas para hacer corsés. En esta ocasión son en tonos rosados, con flores, mariposas, y son muy bonitas. Hay dos telas, una está en la primera foto, y la otra en las otras dos fotos. De esta última tela tengo dos piezas.

Ya sabeis, si quereis un corsé para una ocasión especial, estas son las telas ideales!

Today I,m bringing more Japanese fabrics to make corsets. This time the fabrics are on shades of pink, with flowers, butterflies, and they look very beautiful. There are two fabrics, one of them is on the first picture, and the other one is on the other two pictures. I,ve got two pieces from this fabric.

As you know, if you want a corset for a very special ocasión, these are the perfect fabrics!!

Hace algún tiempo, en una visita a Madrid, encontré esta tela que os muestro hoy en una tienda, y tuve que comprarla… me enamoré del estampado, tan versallesco, tan rococó… son caras de damas y caballeros, que quedarían geniales en el frente de un corsé, por ejemplo, o puestos como apliques en faldas, espaldas o mangas de chaquetas….  os pongo fotos en detalle de las damas, y una vista general de la tela. Espero que os guste, ya estais tardando para encargar un corsé!!

A while ago, on a trip to Madrid, I found this fabric I,m showing today in a shop, and I had to buy it… I fell in love with the printing, so versaillesque, so rococo… it represents the faces of ladies and gentlemen, that would fit perfectly put as appliqués on skirts, back or sleeves of jackets… I put detailed pictures of the ladies, and a general view on the fabric. I hope you like it. Go and ask for your corset yet!!

No hay duda de que la cultura japonesa es una de las más atractivas por su sentido de la estética y elegancia.

Los kimonos son unas prendas que aún siendo simples en su corte, resultan magníficas por la calidad de las sedas usadas para hacerlos, y por sus diseños de estampados.

Aquí teneis una tela que he conseguido, es seda japonesa, de kimono, y está a disposición de quien quiera un corsé hecho con ella.

Personalmente, lo combinaría con bieses negros en los filos y costuras, e incluso lo completaría con un pequeño fajín que de aspecto de obi.

Así que ya sabeis, este tela os espera en forma de corsé. Aquí teneis fotos de cómo es la tela…

There is no doubt at all that japanese culture is one of the most attractives due to the sense of esthetic and elegance.

Kimonos are pieces of wear, that, even being simple in their cut, they look magnificent because of the quality of the silks used on their making, and the patterns of the prints.

Here you have a fabric that I,ve got, it,s japanese kimono silk, and it is at the disposal of anyone who wants a corset made with it.

Personally, I,d combine it with black bias on the edges and hems, and even complete it with a small belt with an obi look.

Raso degradado en varios tonos, muy suave al tacto, y muy bonito.

Degradée satin in various shades of colour, very soft when touching, and very beautiful.

Raso brocado negro con motivo floral.

Black brocade satin, patterned with floral motifs.

Terciopelo degradado en varios tonos de azul y morado.

Degradée velvet in various shades of blue and purple.

Raso morado en tono Nazareno.

Purple satin in Nazarene tone.

Crepe en granate muy oscuro, casi negro.

Crepe in a very dark red tone, almost black.

Gasa en color nude, con estampado floral, ideal para un corsé tipo lencería o victoriano.

Nude colour schiffon, with floral printing, great for a corset in Victorian or lingerie styles.

Gasa de crepe de fondo negro, y pequeñas estrellas en tono crema.

Crepe schiffon in black foundation, and small stars in a shade of cream.

Encaje tipo guipur en negro, para llevar con un forro de cualquier color por debajo.

Encaje con base transparente, casi blanca, y bordado en varios colores. Queda muy bonito de ver.
