Ya sabeis que la maquinaria de mi cabeza no para de dar vueltas. Despues de haber hecho la pulsera Steampunk, quise hacer más cosas del mismo estilo, y aquí están las cuatro piezas que me salieron.

You know well that the machinery inside my head never stops working. After having made the Steampunk bracelet, I wanted to do more things at the same style, and here are the four pieces I got to make.

 PENDIENTES SMOKEY TEARS: Hechos con piezas plásticas imitando cristal, en forma de lágrimas, de color humo. El cierre y las fornituras son de color cobre.

SMOKEY TEARS EARRINGS: Made with plastic pieces imitating crystal, in the shape of tears, in smoke colour. The closures and fornitures are copper coloured.

 PENDIENTES NUDE: Realizados con dos piezas de pasta vítrea enmarcadas, con bolas de filigrana colgando, y unidas a unos pequeños aros. Las piezas de metal son de color cobre.

NUDE EARRINGS: Made with two pieces of cristal framed, with filligrees balls hanging, and joined to small rings. The metallic pieces are copper colour.

PENDIENTES FLAPPER: Usando como motivo principal una imagen de una chica de los años 20 enmarcada, estos pendientes van pegados a una base, y cierran con tuerca. Aunque lo parezca, los marcos no son iguales, aunque sólo hay una pequeñísima diferencia entre ambos. Una vez puestos no se nota.

Puede ir a juego con un anillo, que es la siguiente pieza de la colección.

FLAPPER EARRINGS: A framed image of a girl from the 20,s has been used as the main motif. These earrings are glued to a base, and they are fastened with a screw. Even though it may seem so, the frames are not identical, although there,s just a really small difference between them. Once they,re worn, it can,t be noticed.

They can match a ring, that is the next piece of the collection.

ANILLO FLAPPER: Para hacerlo se ha usado la misma imagen que en los pendientes Flapper, para hacer conjunto. El marco es distinto del de los pendientes, y tiene una forma muy original. La imagen está pegada a una base de anillo metálica de color oro viejo.

FLAPPER RING: The same image on the earrings has been used to make it, to make them match. The frame is different from the ones on the earrings, and has a very original shape. The image is glued to a metallic ring base, in vintage gold colour.

  Hoy he decidido enseñaros algo original, no es ninguna prenda de ropa ni bisutería, aunque está a medio camino de serlo.

Hace unos días estuve en modo laboratorio, haciendo algunos experimentos para conseguir abalorios de papel. Cogí unas revistas, corté tiras, enrollé… y voilá! Aquí teneis los resultados, con varios motivos, hechos con revistas y con páginas de enciclopedia. Un poco de barniz, y quedan estupendos.

Están a la venta, en lotes variados, uno con cada estampado. Podeis ver que he puesto una cinta métrica para que se vea el tamaño de los abalorios.

Today, I decided to show you something original, it,s not any piece of clothing or bijoux, although it,s on the halfway of being it.

Some days ago I was on mode laboratory on, doing some experiments to create paper beads. I took some magazines, I cut stripes, I rolled them… and voilá! Here you have the results, with different motifs, made with magazines and pages from encyclopedias. Some varnish, and they look great.

They are all for sale, in different packs, each one with a different motif. You can appreciate that I put the measurement tape to see the size of the beads.

Hoy os traigo unos botones forrados con telas y motivos distintos, todos muy alegres. Por detrás llevan un broche metálico para colocarlo en la ropa o donde se quiera. Aunque son pequeños y simples, adornan mucho las solapas. Los de la primera foto son más grandes que los de la segunda.

I,m bringing today buttons covered with different fabrics and motifs, all of them very cute. They have a metallic brooch on the back side to put it on the clothes, or wherever. Although they are small and simple, make a beautiful look on the lapels. The ones on the first picture are bigger than the ones on the second picture.

  Dejadme presentaros mi primera colección cápsula, aún está calentita, ya que la he acabado hoy mismo después de almorzar. Se compone, como todas las colecciones cápsulas que haga, de cuatro piezas, distintas, pero con algo en común, que en esta ocasión es que todas tienen un toque vintage y naif al mismo tiempo, y hacen pensar en el ayer. Os voy poniendo fotos, y a continuación os hago los comentarios de cada pieza.

Let me introduce you my first capsule collection, it´s still hot, as I,ve finished it just today, after supper. It is composed, as all the capsule collections I make, of four pieces, different, but with something in common, this time is that all of them have a vintage and naif touch at the same time, and make you think of yesterday. I,ll be posting pictures, and next, I comment each piece.

  -PENDIENTES PARIS MON AMOUR: Pensando en las cosas más representativas de París, el amor y la torre Eiffel, hice estos pendientes. Los charms de la torre Eiffel están enmarcados por unos aros que tienen abalorios tupis en tonos que van del blanco al rojo, pasando por el rosa en dos tonos. Lleva también un pequeño corazón en rojo, y un lazo de raso rojo en la unión con el cierre.

-PARIS MON AMOUR EARRINGS: Thinking about Paris, most representative things , I made these earrings. The Eiffel Tower charms are framed by rings containing tupi beads in shades from white to red, and including two shades of pink. They also have a little red heart, and a red satin bow at the joint with the hook.

  -COLLAR VINTAGE YESTERDAY: Me encantó la pieza de filigrana que es el centro de atención de este collar, no demasiado evidente, sencillo, pero ideal para dar un toque de color a un jersey cuello cisne, por ejemplo. Está trabajado con piezas en dorado antiguo, un abalorio de cloissoné y perlas de cristal en tonos a juego con el cloissoné. También podría quedar muy bonito con alguna pieza de ropa de los años 20.

-VINTAGE YESTERDAY NECKLACE: I loved the filigree piece that catches the attention in this necklace, not too obvious, simple, but perfect to add a touch of colour to a high collar sweater, for example. It it made of pieces on vintage gold, a cloissoné bead and cristal pearls in shades matching the colours of the cloissoné. It could look also very beautiful with a piece of wear from the 20,s.

  -COLLAR CHINA ARTE DECO: No pude resistir la tentación de hacer algo en estilo art decó tras ver hace algunas semanas la película “Cherie” con Michelle Pfeiffer. Las ropas y en especial las joyas que llevaban las mujeres de la película fueron la inspiración perfecta. El collar se compone de cadena en dorado viejo, perlas de cerámica blancas, y también blancas pintadas en azul con motivos chinos, y bolas de filigrana combinadas con tupis azules. Es muy sencillo, pero bonito a la vista. El largo de la cadena es de aproximadamente 1 metro en redondo.

-CHINA ART DECO NECKLACE: I couldn,t resist temptation to make something in the art deco style after seeing some weeks ago the film “Cherie” starring Michelle Pfeiffer. The clothes and specially the jewels worn by the ladies on the film were the perfect inspiration. The necklace is made with vintage gold chain, pearls of white china, and also white decorated with blue chinese motifs, and balls of filigree combined with blue tupi beads. It is very simple, but very beautiful to see. The length of the chain is approximately 1 meter long all around.

  -PENDIENTES CHINA ART DECO: … y como la inspiración seguía, tras hacer el collar pensé en hacer los pendientes a juego. Con el mismo material, aunque las bolas son más grandes que las usadas en el collar. Todo lo anteriormente explicado vale para estos pendientes, perfectos para conjuntar el collar. Ahora solo se necesita un maravilloso vestido blanco art decó para completar el look.

-CHINA ART DECO EARRINGS: … and as inspiration went on, after making the necklace I thought about making the earrings to match it. With the same materials, although the balls are bigger than the ones used on the necklace. All the things explained before are correct for these earrings, perfect to match the necklace. Now it is only need a wonderful white art deco dress to match the look.

Lo que hoy os presento es mi primera colección de diseño propio, usando las ilustraciones creadas por una querida amiga, Aroa Serrano. Ella ha creado estas encantadoras geishas para aplicar a varias cosas, y de momento, este es el uso que les he dado.

Lo primero que veis es esta camiseta, de algodón, disponible en blanco y negro, con las geishas impresas a la altura del pecho. Puede hacerse también en manga larga, o sin mangas, a petición del cliente.

What I bring today is my first collection of own designs, using the illustrations made by a dear friend, Aroa Serrano. She has created these cute geishas to be applied on various things, and, by now, this is the use I,ve made of them.

The first thing you see is this cotton t-shirt, available on black and white, with the geishas printed at the level of the breast. It can be done also with long sleeves, or sleeveless, as requested by the costumer.

Aquí teneis una funda de gafas, hecha con raso color granate, y bies gris oscuro de raso. Las geishas están bordadas. El interior de la funda es de tela acolchada en negro. Cierra con velcros. Adaptable a cualquier medida de gafas.

Here you have a bag for glasses, made with dark red satin, and dark grey satin bias. The geishas are embroidered. The inside of the bag is quilted black fabric. It closes with velcros. Adaptable to any size of glasses.

Finalmente, aquí teneis un juego de chapas metálicas con los dibujos de las geishas. Simples, pero muy bonitas de ver en cualquier sitio que se lleven.

Próximamente espero hacer nuevas colecciones con otras ilustraciones, bisuteria, etc… colecciones cápsulas con poquitas piezas, producto de momentos de inspiración concreta sobre algún tema.
