Como ya expliqué anteriormente, uno de los experimentos que hice fue usar una lata de zumo de naranja para hacer bases para colgantes.

Como me gustó el resultado, cogí dos, e hice unos pendentes mellizos, con ilustraciones de una calle de Japón, de una ilustración de la época victoriana. Combinando los colores de la ilustración, le añadí unos abalorios a juego, y este es el resultado. Una prueba de como se puede contar una historia en un par de pequeñas piezas de bisutería.

As I explained before, one of the experiments I made was to use an orange juice tin to make pendant bases.

As I liked the result, I took two, and made these twin earrings, with illustrations of a Japanese street, from a Victorian era illustration. Combining the colours of the illustration, I added some matching beads, and this is the result. A sampler of how a story can be told on a couple of bijoux pieces.

Os muestro ahora un par de collares que he hecho parecidos al collar de inspiración japonesa que puse no hace mucho. Esta vez, en vez de una mujer, llevan motivos de la naturaleza, como flores y pájaros, pero la esencia es la misma.

Llevan encaje negro a modo de cadena, unos abalorios de colores a juego con los tonos de la imagen, cubierta con resina, y un fleco negro colgando, que hace muy bonito al moverse.

I show you now a couple of necklaces I,ve made, similar to the Japanese inspired necklace I posted not long ago. This time, instead of a woman, they have nature motifs, like flowers and birds, but the essence is the same.

They have black lace as a chain, coloured beads matching the shades of the picture, covered with resin, and a black fringe hanging from the beads, that looks very nice when it moves.

Hoy os traigo a otra clienta que quedó satisfecha con mi trabajo.

Se llama Elena, y me pidió algunas piezas para bailar en el fín de curso de sus clases de Baile Oriental. Por un lado, un sujetador para Oriental, y una túnica para Saidi.

En estas fotos la podeis ver en la actuación, llevando la ropa. Como veis, sonríe mucho, a pesar de ser un poco tímida.

Today I bring another satisfied customer with my job.

Her name is Elena, and she asked me some pieces to dance at the final show of her Bellydance classes. On one side, an Oriental dance top, and a Saidi tunic.

On these pictures you can see her next, wearing the clothes. As you see, she smiles a lot, in spite of being a little shy.

Las segundas mallas son estas blancas, con volantes en telas estampadas que van desde los más claros hasta negro. Hay lunares, rayas, flores, un poco de todo. Quería hacer algo para un look tribal más blanco, para tener algo diferente.

The second pants are these white ones, with ruffles made of printed fabrics that go from the lighter tones until black. There are polkadots, stripes, flowers, a bit of everything. I wantes to make something for a whiter tribal look, to have something different.

Ahora le toca el turno a un par de mallas de tribal.

Las primeras son estas negras, con volantes en tonos fucsia y granate, combinando telas del mismo estilo. Como veis trato de hacer cada malla diferente, incluso en la forma de los volantes, para que quien las compre sienta que tiene algo único y que no se parece a lo demás.

Estas en concreto, ya tienen dueña.

Now it,s the time for a couple of tribal pants.

The first ones are these black ones, with ruffles in fuchsia and dark red, combining fabrics in the same style. As you see I try to make each pants different, even in the shape of the ruffles, for the person who buy it can feel that has something unique and that doesn,t seem like the rest.

These ones have an owner yet.

Quiero enseñaros ahora este conjunto de bisutería formado por un collar y unos pendientes. Los materiales son piedras de coral, abalorios de algo que creo que es hueso, dos colgantes, uno de laca (una especie de barro muy usado en la artesanía China desde hace siglos), el otro pienso que es de hueso, y unas chapas con unos dragones chinos estampados.

Me ha encantado hacerlo, se ve fastuoso, y es ideal para adornar un simple vestido negro.

I want to show you now this bijoux set formed by a necklace and earrings. The materials used are coral stones, beads made of something I think it,s bone, two pendants, one of laque (a kind of clay very popular on Chinese crafts for centuries), I think the other one is made of bone, and plates with stamped chinese dragons.

I loved to make it, it looks fastuous, and is great to embellish a simple black dress.

Ahora os traigo un par de muestras de telas, que os he puesto combinadas entre sí, con la idea de hacer corsés con ellas.

-Por un lado, tenemos un combinado de telas para corsé steampunk, en concreto, el corsé de viajes que puse hace algunos posts. Como ya no me queda la tela del mapa, propongo combinar la tela de rayas bien con la de aviones antiguos, o con la de las brujulas. Esta está disponible como se ve en la foto o también con el fondo en gris azulado.

-Para un corsé gótico, victoriano, pin up… tenemos estas dos telas japonesas, en las que predomina el color morado. Son preciosas, y se puede crear algo realmente bello.

Now I,m bringing a couple of fabric samplers, that I put combining each other, with the intention of macking corsets with them.

-On one hand, we have a combination of fabrics for a Steampunk corset, on the fact, the Travel corset that I showed some posts ago. As there is no more fabric left of the one printed with the antique map, I propose to combine the stripped fabric both with the airplanes fabric, or the compass fabric. This one is available as it is on the picture, or with the foundation colour on a blueish grey.

-For a Gothic, Victorian, Pin up… corset, we have these two japanise style printed fabrics, in which the purple colour is the main attraction. They are wonderful, and it can be used on creating something really wonderful.
