Quien dijo que el mes de Agosto era tranquilo?
Como habeis podido ver, hace muchos días que no actualizo el blog, lo cierto es que aunque creí que este mes sería tranquilito, me equivoqué, ya que está siendo de todo menos aburrido. Como prueba, los posts que vais a ver a continuación…
Comenzamos con este traje de danza oriental azul, hecho a gusto de la clienta, que lo va a usar en escenario, ya que es bailarina.
Las imágenes por sí solas ya dejan ver todos los adornos que lleva el traje, que se compone de sujetador, cinturón y falda.
Me ha gustado mucho hacerlo, ya que el trabajo manual me es muy relajante, y con este debo decir que estuve un día entero tan sólo con los flecos que lleva el cinturón, ji ji… pero el resultado merece la pena.

As you might have seen, it,s been many days since I haven,t actualized this blog, the truth is that although I thought that this month would be quiet, I went wrong, as it,s being anything but bored. As a sampler, the posts you are about to see…
We,ll start with this blue Oriental Dance suit, made at the customer,s choice, who will wear it on stage, as she is a dancer.
The images speck by themselves, as they show all of the embellishments on the suit, wich is a bra, a belt, and a skirt.
I enjoyed a lot making it, because the hand work is very relaxing for me, I must say that it took me a whole day to make the fringes of the belt, hi hi… but the result is worthwhile.

Siguiendo con el estilo tribal, ahora os muestro un cinturón, combinando negro y dorado, con una cenefa de elefantes al estilo hindú. Es muy sencillo, pero tiene un brillo muy bonito y los flecos se mueven mucho al bailar.

Going on with the Tribal style, I,ll show you now a belt, combining black and gold, with a hindi elephants trim. It looks very simple, but it has a very beautiful shine and the fringes move a lot when dancing.

Aquí teneis una malla tribal como las que suelo hacer. Esta tiene los volantes en tonos grises y negros, y los volantes están rematados con hilo metálico plata, y multicolor. Queda muy bonita puesta, y al bailar en un escenario los hilos metálicos brillan mucho.
Están pensadas para el lado más gótico dentro del estilo tribal.

Here you have a Tribal dance pants like the ones I use to make. This one has the ruffles in shades of grey and black, and they are overlocked with metallic thread in silver, and multicolour. It looks very beautiful when worn, and when dancing on stage the metalic threads shine a lot.
They were thought for the most Gothic side of the Tribal style.

Hoy os traigo a otra clienta que quedó satisfecha con mi trabajo.
Se llama Elena, y me pidió algunas piezas para bailar en el fín de curso de sus clases de Baile Oriental. Por un lado, un sujetador para Oriental, y una túnica para Saidi.
En estas fotos la podeis ver en la actuación, llevando la ropa. Como veis, sonríe mucho, a pesar de ser un poco tímida.

Today I bring another satisfied customer with my job.
Her name is Elena, and she asked me some pieces to dance at the final show of her Bellydance classes. On one side, an Oriental dance top, and a Saidi tunic.
On these pictures you can see her next, wearing the clothes. As you see, she smiles a lot, in spite of being a little shy.
I put the pictures with her permission.

Ahora os enseñaré una túnica para bailar Saidi, encargada por la misma chica.
Está hecha en raso azul, y decorada con bordados dorados, y lentejuelas doradas, con abalorios en tonos que van del blanco hasta azul oscuro.
En la cintura hay unas tiras para atar en la parte de detrás y ajustarla un poco. También lleva aberturas en los lados para facilitar el movimiento de las piernas mientras se baila al ritmo del tambor. Y las sisas están abiertas, ya que según parece, se hacen así.
La chica es pequeñita y delgada, con lo cual tuve problemas para poner sobre el maniquí la túnica, así que la coloqué por encima (por eso se puede ver la parte trasera del escote).

I,ll show you now a tunic for Saidi dance, commited by the same girl.
It is made of blue satin, and embellished with golden embroideries, and golden sparkles, with rocailles in shades from white to dark blue.
There are straps on the waist to tie on the back and fit the tunic a little. It also has slits on the sides to ease the movement of the legs when dancing at the rhythm of the drums. And the armholes are open, because they,re always made this way.
The girl is small and skinny, so I had some troubles to put the tunic on the mannequin, so I put it over it (that,s why it can be seen the back of the collar).

Hoy os traigo en primer lugar, un par de trabajos de los que más disfruto haciendo.
Para empezar, un sujetador para danza oriental. La chica que me lo encargó me dió un sujetador negro, al que le coloqué tiras para atar en raso granate, y decoré con apliques de encaje de guipur marrón, lentejuelas plateadas, abalorios, y le hice flecos con monedas. Debo decir que hace un sonido muy bonito al moverse.

Today I,m bringing on the first place, a couple of works of the ones I enjoy most on their making.
To start, a bellydance bra. The girl who made the commision gave me a black bra, to which I put dark red satin straps , and embellished with brown guipour motifs, silver colour sparkles, beads, and I also made some fringes with coins. I must say that it makes a very beautiful sound when it moves.

Hoy os traigo el resto de las cosas en las que estuve trabajando la semana pasada.
Para empezar, os traigo este pantalón bombacho, ideal para Bollywood, ya que está lleno de colores. Está hecho con telas de raso, con la técnica de patchwork. (Debo decir que en total son casi 200 rectángulos). La cintura es ajustable, por lo cual encaja en varias tallas.

Today I bring the rest of the things I was working on last week.
To start, I,m bringing this harem pant, perfect for Bollywood, as it is full of colours. It is made with satin fabrics, using the Patchwork techniques. (I must say that there are almost 200 rectangles). The waist is adjustable, so it can fit various sizes.

Las segundas mallas son estas blancas, con volantes en telas estampadas que van desde los más claros hasta negro. Hay lunares, rayas, flores, un poco de todo. Quería hacer algo para un look tribal más blanco, para tener algo diferente.

The second pants are these white ones, with ruffles made of printed fabrics that go from the lighter tones until black. There are polkadots, stripes, flowers, a bit of everything. I wantes to make something for a whiter tribal look, to have something different.

Como podeis ver, este es un pantalón muy simple, con las piernas anchas y goma elástica en la cintura. Lo que lo hace especial es el estampado de la tela de algodón, en tonos crema, negro, y granate. No necesita explicación, ya que lo que veis es lo que hay.

Hola a todos!
Hoy os traigo como siempre muchas cosas, y variadas. Para empezar, una variante de los sacos para crótalos. Estos no son personalizados, ya que no tienen letras bordadas, pero son también muy bonitos. Al igual que los otros, tienen forro por dentro, y se dividen en varios espacios para poner los crótalos separados.
Estos son unas muestras de lo que puede hacerse, siempre a gusto del cliente.

Today I,m bringing lots of various stuff, as always. To start, a variation of the cymbals bags. These ones are not customized, as they are not embroidered, but they look beautiful too. Just like the others, they´re lined inside, and the lining is divided on spaces to keep the cymbals separately.
These ones are just samplers of what can be made, always at the customer,s choice.
