Esta última semana ha sido muy intensa en mi trabajo, he estado creando sin parar, y trabajando sábados y domingos ya que tengo proyectos interesantes a la vista, que os iré comentando a medida que se confirmen…

Una de las cosas que hice fue esta colección de tocados, con un look entre retro, gótico, excepto el de las matriuskas, que acabó siendo un poco naif.

Como veis, aunque tienen la misma base de círculo, las combinaciones de colores y formas son distintas.

The last week has been very intense on my work, I,ve been creating without a pause, and working Saturdays and Sundays , as I have interesting projects on sight, that I,ll be commenting as they´re confirmed…

One of the things I made was this collection of fascinators, with a look between Retro, Gothic, except for the one with the Matrioshkas, that ended up being a little naif.

As you see, although they all have the same circle base, the combinations of colours and shapes are different.

I hope you like them….

Otra cosa en la que estuve trabajando, es este gorro de aviador, inspirado en los que llevaban a principios del s. XX los aviadores, pilotos de coches , se podría decir que casi cualquiera que condujera un vehículo.

Está hecho en tela de lana color camel, y forrado en pelo negro, y tela de gabardina elástica negra. Lleva pespuntes de adorno en marrón oscuro, y en la parte de detrás lleva un parche aplicado, bordado en hilo metalizado cobre sobre fieltro marrón. Se ata con un botón.

Tened en cuenta que la cabeza sobre la que está puesta no tiene pelo, con lo cual se le ve un poco grande, pero os aseguro que encaja perfectamente en una cabeza de tamaño normal.

Así pues, aventureros del s. XXI, completad vuestro atuendo con este gorro (que en invierno es perfecto para el frío).

Another thing in which I was working, is this aviator cap, inspired on the ones worn by aviators, car drivers, it could be said that almost anyone who drove a vehicle…

It is made of camel wool fabric, and lined on black false fur and elastic cotton. There are embellishing seams in dark brown, and on the back there is a patch, embroidered with copper colour metalic thread, on dark brown felt. It closures with a button.

Keep in mind that the head on which it is put, is hairless, so it may look a little big, but you can be sure that it fits perfectly on a normal size head.

So, adventurers of the 21^th century, complete your clothes with this cap (perfect for the winter cold).

-GORRA MILITAR:

Hecha con el estilo de los años 40, pero en versión oscura. Está hecho de raso negro, y lleva bies de cuadros blanco y negro . En el lado lleva un botón de adorno. Como veis es muy sencillo, pero ideal para adornar un conjunto de pin up oscura, gótica militar, o dieselpunk.

-MILITARY CAP:

Made in the style of the 40,s, but in a darker version. It is made of black satin, and has black and white vichy bias. There is a button on the side. As you see, it,s very simple, but perfect to match a dark pin up, military gothic or dieselpunk suit.

-MINI HAT DE PATA DE GALLO:

 Está hecho en tela de pata de gallo en tonos crudo y negro, y se decora con una cinta de terciopelo negro, y una flor en rosa claro. Ideal para complementar un traje de gótico victoriano, o de elegant Lolita, por ejemplo…

 -GREYHOUND MINI HAT:

 It is made of greyhound fabric in shades of cream and black, and it is embellishes with black velvet ribbon, and a light pink flower. Perfect to match a Gothic Victorian or Elegant Lolita suit, for example…

-MINI HAT CHOCOLATE:

Hecho de raso marrón chocolate con adornos en color crema muy claro. Se adorna con encaje de algodón crudo, y con un pequeño ramillete de flores atado con un lazo de encaje.

Ideal para completar un conjunto de Sweet Lolita, algo Steampunk, o de inspiración Victoriana.

-CHOCOLATE MINI HAT:

Made of chocolate brown satin patterned with light cream colour motifs. It is embellished with cream cotton lace, and with a small bunch of flowers tied with cotton lace.

Perfect to match a Sweet Lolita or Steampunk suit, or something Victorian inspired.

-MINI TRICORNIO:

Me apetecía hacer un sombrero así, se ve muy tierno. Está hecho de raso azul marino, y decorado con encaje negro, lazo de terciopelo rojo, y lleva una moneda con un motivo de la época de la Revolución Francesa, con ribón rojo.

Divertido sobre todo, e ideal para completar un look de pirata, de la Revolución Francesa, personaje de rol, o cualquier cosa imaginativa…

-TRICORN MINI HAT:

I wanted to do something like this, it looks very cute. It is made of navy blue satin, and embellished with black lace, red velvet ribbon, and it has a coin with a French Revolution era motif , with red ribbon.

Funny above all, and perfect to complete a pirate, French Revolution, role character look, or anything imaginative…

El día de ayer estuve trabajando duramente para hacer lo que hoy os traigo… una versión mini del sombrero que lleva Johnny Depp en la película Alicia en el País de las Maravillas de Tim Burton.

Ni que decir tiene que en cuanto lo ví en fotos, mucho antes incluso que en la película, me encantó… y en cuanto tuve la oportunidad y el tiempo, decidí hacerlo.

Además, tuve la suerte de que tan pronto dije que tenía la intención de hacerlo, ya me lo compraron!

El sombrero está hecho con encaje negro, bajo en cual hay raso marrón. La decoración la componen puntadas en dorado viejo, agujas de sombrero, una pluma de pavo real, un retazo de tela de rayas, y por los bordes lleva puntadas a mano hechas a propósito, ya que el sombrero original las lleva así.

Como curiosidad, decir que el sombrero de la película es de cuero negro labrado, con dibujos en marrón. Sin embargo, el resultado usando encaje y raso ha quedado bastante bonito.

Alrededor lleva una tira de raso en rosa polvoriento, que ata por detrás, y en los extremos, lleva apliques de encaje y lentejuelas haciendo flores.

Espero que os guste… para mí ha sido un placer hacerlo.

Yesterday I was working very hard to do what I bring today… a mini version of the hat that Johnny Depp wears on the film “Alice in wonderland” by Tim burton.

Needless to say that as soon as I saw it on pictures, much before than on the film, I loved it… and as soon as I had the chance and the time, I decided to do it.

I was lucky too, that as soon as I said I had the intention to do it, it was bought!

The hat is made with black lace, over brown satin. The embellisment is composed of stitches on antique gold metallic thread, hat pins, a peacock feather, a scrap of a stripped fabric, and there are on the edges stitches made by hand on purpose, as the original hat has them too.

As a curiosity, I,ll say that the hat on the film is made of black tooled leather, with printings in brown. Anyway, the result using lace and satin is very beautiful.

There is dusty pink fabric around it, that ties on the back, and on the edges, it has lace motifs and spangles shaped as flowers.

I hope you like it… it was a pleasure for me to do it.

Este vestido es mi última creación. Este lunes pasado salió para su destino, una señorita de Madrid de quien ya he puesto alguna prenda aquí en el blog.

Me pidió algo bonito para una boda, pero manteniendo su estilo, es decir, gótico, y metalero. Así que el resultado es un vestido de tafetán negro, con el cuerpo de estilo corsé, sobre el cual se cruzan tiras de tul negro bordado en hilo metálico de cobre. Por detrás ata con un lazo, y para completar el conjunto, llevará un mini hat de la misma tela de tul, y que también conoceis.

Os pongo las fotos del vestido, y al final, la del sombrero.

(Debo decir que es un trabajo hecho con mucho cariño para una querida amiga).

This dress is my last creation. Last Monday, it got on its way to its destination, a young lady from Madrid from whom I,ve posted some clothes here in the blog.

She asked me something beautiful for a wedding, but manteining her style, that is, gothic and metal. So the result is a black taffeta dress, with the body shaped in a corset style, and over it there are crossed stripes of black tulle embroidered on copper metallic thread. It ties on the back with a ribbon, and to complete the look, she will wear a mini hat made on the same tulle fabric, and you know well too.

I put the pictures of the dress, and the last one, is the hat.

(I must say that it is a work made with a lot of love for a dear friend).

Estuve echando un vistazo a cosas que aún no había puesto en el blog, y encontré estas dos, una corbata, y una mini corona. Os cuento:

La corbata es de raso negro, y tiene bordado un pequeño querubín en blanco, de estilo victoriano. Es un detalle que completa muy bien un look masculino (llevado tanto por hombres, o por mujeres).

La corona es de pasamanería negra, y está forrada en raso rojo. Lleva en el centro una cruz de metal plateado. Es perfecta para un look gótico, o Lolita en tonos oscuros.

I was taking a look at things I still hadn,t published on the blog, and I found these two, a tie, and a mini crown. Let me tell you:

The tie is made of black satin, and has a little embroidered Cherub in white, in a Victorian style. It is a detail that completes very well a masculine look (worn both by men and women).

The crown is made of black ribbon, and the lining is red satin. It has in its center a cross made of silver metal. It is perfect for a gothic look, or a dark Lolita.

Este es el primer mini hat que hice, en blanco y negro, sencillito, pero que se ve muy mono puesto. Lleva como adornos encaje blanco, por el cual le metí la cinta de raso negra y blanca, para que destacara, y en el frente una pequeña rosa negra.

Gracias al modelo que lo lleva puesto en las fotos. Hizo un gran trabajo!! Ji ji…

This is the first mini hat I made, in black and white, simple, but it looks very cute when worn. It is embellished with black lace, in which I put black and white satin ribbon, to make a contrast, and a little black rose on the front.

This mini hat can be made in any colour, and almost any fabric. If you decide yourself, ask for one!

Estas cofias hechas en colores suaves, son para bebés. Históricamente, serían todas blancas, pero para ir a un mercado o feria medieval sin mucha exactitud, son ideales.

  Esta es mi última creación. Lo he acabado justamente hoy. Este mini hat lleva una base negra sobre la cual puse un tul negro con bordados en hilo metalico color cobre. Lleva alrededor una tira de tafetán marrón, y como adornos, un camafeo rodeado por lentejuelas color cobre, plumas negras, una rama hecha con alambre de cobre y rocallas, y una cadenita de cobre con colgantes.

Va con una diadema forrada de raso. Por cierto, este sombrero me hace sentirme especialmente orgullosa, ji ji.

This is my last creation. I,ve just finished it today. This mini hat has a black foundation on which I put black tulle embroidered with metallic copper thread. It has a strip of brown taffeta all around, and as decoration, a cameo surrounded by copper colour sequins, black feathers, a branch made of copper wire and rocaille, and a little copper chain with charms.

It goes with a headband wrapped with satin bias. By the way, this mini hat makes me feel very proud of it, hi hi….

  Antes que nada, pido perdón por la calidad de las fotos, mi antigua cámara no era tan potente como la que tengo ahora y las fotos tenían una calidad menor.

Este mini hat tiene forma de pequeño gorro de bruja. Es negro, y tiene alrededor un lazo de organza negro sobre otro de raso lila. Ata con un lazo detrás, y tiene una hebilla dorada delante como adorno. Perfecto para una noche de Halloween.

This mini hat has the shape of a small witch hat. It is black, and has a black gauze ribbon over other lilac satin ribbon. It is tied with a bow on the back, and has a golden belt in the front as a decorative motif. Perfect for a Halloween night.
