Este es mi traje de Arwen. Lo hice después de haber visto la primera película, cuando ya había información bastante como para ver ropas de la segunda parte.

Usé muchísima información de Alleycatscratch, una web especializada en el vestuario de las películas de el Señor de los Anillos, donde se puede encontrar cualquier cosa. Miré formas, colores, incluso los patrones para bordar el escote y las mangas. El escote lo bordé a máquina, y lo completé a mano. Las mangas están hechas a mano (me llevó 9 horas bordar la gasa).

Al final, creo que quedó bonito, y cada vez que me lo pongo me siento especial. Os pongo primero la foto de Arwen con el vestido original, y luego las fotos de mi vestido. Siento la calidad de las fotos, pero las he tenido que rescatar de mi anterior espacio msn.

This is my Arwen,s dress. I made it after having seen the first of the films, when there was enough information to see clothes from the second film.

I use tons of information from Alleycatscratch, a web specialized on the costumes from the Lord of the rings films, where you can find anything. I watched shapes, colours, even the embroidery patterns for the collar and the sleeves. I made the collar with machine embroidery, and finished it by hand. The sleeves are embroidered by hand (it took me 9 hours to embroider the fabric).

At the end, I think it looked beautiful, and it makes me feel special each time I wear it. I put first Arwen,s pic with the original dress, and later the pictures of my dress. I,m sorry about the poor quality, but I had to rescue them from my older msn space.
