En un fín de semana en Oporto, encontré piezas muy interesantes para crear bisutería. Entre ellas, este pequeño monedero metálico, que se puede abrir, y que cierra con un imán. Dentro le puse una imagen de una ilustración vintage, cubierta con resina. Hay abalorios en la cadena, de varios colores a juego con los de la ilustración.

Spending a weekend at Oporto, I found interesting pieces to make bijoux. Amongst them, this small metallic coin purse, which can be opened, and that closures with a magnet. I put inside of it a picture from a vintage illustration, covered with resin. There are beads on the chain, on various colours matching the illustration.

Ahora quiero enseñaros unos trabajitos con resina que he estado haciendo. Me encanta trabajar con resina, creo que no es difícil darse cuenta, es un material muy bueno para trabajar, y los resultados son muy bonitos.

Aquí teneis un par de colgantes con querubines. Los había hecho para aprovechar restos de resina de otros trabajos, y al final decidí ponerlos sobre bases para que luzcan así de originales.

I want to show you now some resin works I,ve been making. I love working with resin, I think it,s not difficult to realise about it, this is a material easy to work with, and the results are very beautiful.

Here you have a couple of pendants with cherubs. I had made them to use some remains from another works, and finally I decided to put them on bases to look as original as these ones do.

Ahora os quiero mostrar un conjunto que hice para otra querida amiga.

Está hecho para una ocasión especial, un evento al que quería ir vestida con un estilo un poco Steampunk Victoriano. Para ello, le hice un corsé, una sobrefalda, y para completar el conjunto, unas polainas y un mini hat que conocereis por haberlos visto tanto aquí en posts, como en el catálogo.

Los colores usados son negro y crudo, que combinan muy bien. El corsé está hecho con una tela de dos capas, la interior de punto negro, y la exterior de encaje crudo. En el frente lleva la imagen de un esqueleto, en tela impresa, y los filos son de raso a rayas.

La sobrefalda es de raso negro, y lleva encaje vintage en el filo de los volantes.

Las polainas y el mini hat son de pata de gallo.

Os pongo primero las fotos del conjunto, luego las de las polainas y el mini hat, y por último, la orgullosa modelo con la ropa puesta.

I want to show you now a suit I made for another dear friend.

It is made for an special ocasión, an event to which she wanted to wear something in the Victorian Steampunk style. So, I made a corset, an overskirt, and to complete the suit, spats and mini hat that you may know for having seen them here on some posts and also on the catalos.

The colours used on the suit are black and cream, which make a good mix. The corset is made of a double layer fabric, the inner one is black cotton knit, and the outer one is cream lace. There is an image of a skeleton printed on fabric, and the edges are made of stripped satin.

The overskirt is made of black satin, and there is vintage lace along the edge of the ruffles.

Both spats and mini hat are made of eyehound fabric.

I,ll show first the pictures of the suit, later the pics of the spats and the mini hat, and to end, the proud model wearing the clothes.

Falta poco para Fin de Año, esa noche especial en la que todas las chicas quieren verse bien.

Os quiero enseñar la falda que le he hecho a una querida amiga, que también ha comprado un corsé que seguro que conocereis, ya que estaba incluido en el catálogo.

La falda está hecha de raso negro, tiene un bies en el filo de raso morado, y una mariposa bordada en hilo metálico morado. El forro también es morado. La falda es más larga en un lado que en otro, para dar un toque de originalidad y romper con la seriedad de la ropa de fiesta que se suele llevar.

Pongo primero las fotos de la falda, y por último la del corsé para que os hagais una idea de como queda el conjunto.

Hi all!

New Year,s Eve is coming, that special night in which all the girls want to look great.

I want to show you the skirt I made to a dear friend, who has also bought a corset you surely know, as it was included on my catalog.

The skirt is made of black satin, there is a purple bias on the edge, and an embroidered butterfly made of metallic thread. The lining is also purple. The skirt is longer on one side, to give a touch of originality and break the seriousness of the clothes thta are usually worn.

I show first the pictures of the skirt, and later the picture of the corset to get an idea of how the suit matches.

Para terminar, os enseño algunos pares de pendientes que hice. Veis que son distintos, y es que la inspiración me viene de muchas maneras, ji ji…. y podeis ver como se puede también reciclar materiales para hacer bisutería. Siempre es bonito dar vida a cosas que estaban olvidadas.

To make an end, I,ll show you some earrings I made. As you see they are different, because inspiration comes to me in many different ways, hi hi… you can see too how it is possible to recycle old stuff to make bijoux. It is always nice to bring to life to things that laid forgotten.

También he estado trabajando con resina. Entre las piezas que he hecho, están estos colgantes. Los que son de colores tienen la base también hecha por mí. Cada uno es distinto, no hay dos idénticos, y a pesar de ser muy sencillos, se ven muy bonitos.

Hola a todos! Como os anunciaba hace días, he estado un poco ocupada preparando cositas para la campaña de Navidad. Hay un poco de todo, así que os comienzo a enseñar mi último material.

Comenzamos con estas muñecas Raggedy Ann. Ya había hecho una antes, que fue un éxito y no tardó mucho en venderse, con lo cual me animé a hacer estas otras dos. Una pelirroja, y una morena. He de decir que tanto las muñecas como sus ropas están hechas usando telas recicladas o retales que tenía guardados. Como veis, el resultado es muy bonito, y se hacen querer.

Hi all!As I announced some days ago, I,ve been a little busy preparing some stuff for the Christmas campaign. There is a bit of everything, so I,ll begin to show my latest stuff.

We,ll start with these two Raggedy Ann dolls. I had made another one before, which was successful and it didn,t take too long to be sold, so I decided to make another two. A red haired one, and a brunette one. I must say that both the dolls and their clothes are made using recicled fabrics or scraps I had kept. As you see, the result is very beautiful, and they,re lovely.
